If you arrange an airport pick up, the taxi service will take you directly to either your accommodation or to the college depending on your time of arrival. We will need your full flight information including arrival time and any transits you might be making on the way.
Although Liverpool is the most convenient airport for New College Group, we appreciate that sometimes students will arrive at different airports across the country.
We are able to offer transfer services from other airports within a 1 hour drive from Liverpool. These include Manchester Airport and Leeds Bradford Airport.

There is no train station at the airport.
Liverpool South Parkway is the closest rail station to Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and is located approximately 2 miles from the airport. You can catch a bus from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Liverpool South Parkway, including the 80A and the 86A. The bus journey will take about 15 minutes. Liverpool Lime Street is the main rail network and is located approximately 7 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Liverpool Lime Street is in the city centre of Liverpool and only a 15 minute walk to NCG. Regular buses operate from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Liverpool Lime Street, including the Arriva Route 500. The bus journey will take about 55 minutes. At Manchester Airport there is train station. After leaving the Arrivals Hall follow the signs for the train station, buy your ticket from the machine or the ticket office and board the train for Liverpool Lime Street. The journey takes about 40 minutes. This option is often expensive unless you book in advance.

If you have not booked your taxi through New College Group then you should only use the Airport Approved Black Taxi service signposted at the airport. Black cabs can be expensive. We recommend that you book your travel through New College Group to be sure of a safe transfer.
After arriving at Lime Street Station, follow the signs for Queens Square Bus Station. This is a 2 minute walk. You can travel to all parts of Liverpool from here.
