    Getting to NCG Dublin

    NCG Dublin is based just outside of Dublin city centre, in the beautiful seaside town of Dún Laoghaire. The following information has been collated to help you arrive safety and comfortably in the city centre ahead of your studies.

    Arrival from the Airport

    We have collated the following information to help support you in getting from the airport to either your accommodation or the school. If you require any further information, or if you would like help booking a transfer, please speak to the admissions team.

    By taxi

    There is one airport in Dublin, located approximately 24KM from the school. For a simple and quick transfer to either the school or your accommodation, our admissions team will happily organise a private taxi transfer, for a small fee.

    In addition, taxis are available outside the airport on arrival, but please note that these will be significantly more expensive than a pre-booked transfer, costing up to €70.

    By train

    Dún Laoghaire is a stop on the mainline rail service from Dublin to Wexford and Rosslare. Exit the airport and follow the signs to the train station.

    By bus

    The easiest way to travel from Dublin airport to Dún Laoghaire is by the Aircoach Route 703, which will take you directly from the airport to Dún Laoghaire. The town is also served by a frequent bus service and the railway station is the final stop of the 46A bus. Other bus routes to Dún Laoghaire include the 7, 7a, 45A, 59, 111, 75 and 63.

    Getting to the school

    NCG Dublin is based just outside of Dublin city centre. It is easily accessible by public transport.

    By train

    Dublin’s electric rail system, known as the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit), is a quick way to get around Dublin and out to Dún Laoghaire. It runs all along the coast allowing you to get about from school to accommodation and social gatherings easily.

    The DART operates every 15 minutes (on peak) and a journey from Dublin city centre to NCG Dublin will take approximately 25 minutes.

    By bus

    There are many bus stops in and around Dún Laoghaire, with easy access to the surrounding areas and Dublin city centre. To plan your bus journey, please visit the Dublin bus website.
